Tuesday II

Ohhhhh! I almost forgot! Be sure to check out my new web site.

I just set this up last night! Super fun to play with!

What a Monday we had!

Grace and Sam had their first dentist appointment a few weeks back. Well, it turned out Grace had one cavity and Sam had two. Yesterday we took them to have the cavities filled.

YIKES!!!!!! Sam had so much trouble with it. It turns out he has a very strong gag reflex. You guessed he threw up. Not just once but twice in the chair. My poor boy. He tried to be so brave. The worst thing is we have to take him back in two weeks to have the second cavity filled. Grace did pretty good with it. No major problems. I do have say they now both understand the importance of brushing and flossing!

Be sure to vote for your favorite new in color. It is your chance to win a FREE package for card stock! Everyone likes FREE SU product...RIGHT??????? (To post a comment just click on the word COMMENT below the post that you would like to comment on.)

Long time no post!

Well Hello!

It feels like ages since I have paid any attention to my blog! We got busy last week with golf clinic, sleep overs and birthday parties. Not sure how I made it through all that!

Dave and I did manage to go to dinner & a movie for my birthday last guessed it The Dark Knight. I do have to admit it was a great movie.

I need to mention the August card camp will be held on Friday, August 1 only. No one has signed up for Saturday. I will post the September date soon. I am kind of holding off for soccer schedules. Seems like soccer just ended.

The new SU In Colors are Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango, Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red, Pacific Point and Baja Breeze. I hope you get a good idea of the shades from my photo. They are awesome!!! What is your favorite In Color shade??? Post it here and your name will going into a drawing for a package of our favorite In Color card stock.
I have notification that the new catalogs have shipped. I will have them very soon. Remember August 10 is the final day to order any retired stamps/accessories. Orders from the new catalog will be taken on August 11.
Stay cool!

What a beautiful day. We are headed out to the school walking track. Grace and Sam are going to play on the playground while I walk the track. I signed up the kids for a golf clinic this week. It is a great program. They really seemed to enjoy it yesterday and they actually learned some things too! We take them golfing on a local par 3 course. is a card I made.

Thanks for looking!

Happy Friday. Well today was the last day of VBS. Grace and Sam are wiped out. Sam actually took a nap today. He has not done that in a very, very long time.

This is the final card camp card. This card is made with the Infinite Goodness set. The background of this card is done with bleach, the pear is water colored, and then clear embossing powder was melted over the top. Hope you enjoyed seeing the cards we are going to make.

There are still spaces available if you are interested. Send me a e-mail or phone me.

Also, feel free to post a comment on my blog or just say Hi and let me know you are checking my blog out.

Thanks for looking!

Wednesday II

WOW! Two posts in one day. Crazy huh????? No telling what will happen tomorrow!!! This is one more card for the August camp.

Thanks for looking!

Good Morning!

Whew! What a busy morning. I sure feel like I have gotten a ton done. Just finished putting away the last of the laundry. I had a lot to catch up on, it got away from me. Glad to have it done.

Can you believe it is the middle of July and I am not counting down the days until Grace and Sam go back to school!!!! We are really having a great summer and we have not even gone on a family vacation yet. (We are planning a trip to the Wisconsin Dells in August.) A girlfriend and I took the kids to Chicago for the day. We went to the American Girl Store (I have so much fun there) and we hit the Lego store (it is fun there too). We had a great time. The train makes going to Chicago so easy. That has been our big trip so far this summer.

I love taking Grace and Sam to the beach. They have so much fun there. My legs have not been this tan in I don't know how many years. I truly feel blessed to live so close to such a beautiful beach!

Here is another card we will be doing at the card camp in August. The stamp set I used is called Just B. The papers used are Sahara Sand, Night of Navy, Whisper White, Real Red. I thought this card would make a nice B-Day card for a man.

By the way, Dianne I too remember you purchasing the Spring Garden set at the first SU party I hosted. It truly is amazing what we remember!!!! LOL

Thanks for stopping by and have a great summer day!!!!!

It is heating up outside. I love this weather! The kids are enjoying VBS this week. I managed to sneak a little stampin' in! I almost forgot how much I enjoy it! LOL

This card is one the cards we will be making at the August card camp. The stamp set used is called Fresh Cuts. The colors used are Bashful Blue, Cameo Coral, Certainly Celery, Lovely Lilac and Basic Black. These colors came straight off of the SU color wheel. I love that thing!

Thanks for looking!

The kids are going to VBS...whew! It has been a long time since I have been in this house without one or both of them around.

This card is made from a stamp set called Spring Garden. This set was one of the first ones I purchased from SU. It has been a staple for me. Even though it has long since retired I still use it a lot.

Have a great day!

I hope you all have a safe and happy 4th of July!

Big news!!! All I can say is WOW! SU has given us our "sneak peek" at the new catalog!!! Again, all I can say is WOW!

The new "in-colors" are fabulous! I have already placed my pre-order and will snap some pictures of the product in the new colors and post them for you.

All NEW stamp sets will be die-cut, which means you pop out the image, peel off the back, and place them. No more trimming on the new sets. There will be an icon next to the new sets in the catalog to indicate they are die cut. The carry over sets will still need to be trimmed, still pretty easy to do.

There is also a scallop border punch, which I am very excited about! The new stamp sets are awesome also. The stamp sets I pre-order will be featured at the August card camp, be sure to sign up!

Oh, and I almost forgot...WALL-E was a must see!!!

Thanks for stopping by!
