Good Morning!

Meet Stanley, I love this stamp. I think he is very cute. He will be featured periodically. I will be playing around to see what kind of different looks I can give him. He is actually called Fat Cat by Rubber Cottage Stamps.

Last night was Grace's last softball game. Woo Hoo!!! That frees up some evenings! Yippie!!!! Can you tell I am pretty happy about this? The double headers did me in!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Good Morning!

Someone please tell me is it Fall or Summer??? The weather has been so cool I can hardly believe it is summer.

Today is my Sister-In-Law's wedding anniversary! Happy Anniversary, Julie and Ryan! You guessed it that is why I posted this anniversary card.

I just love these Carousel Notes, you can do so much with them. They make an awesome embellishment on scrapbook pages too. They are featured in the SU Occasions Mini Collection 2008 catalog. See page 7. If you do not have the catalog, just click on it in the margin of my blog. You are still able to purchase from this catalog until June 30, SU extended the date.

Hope you have a great day and THANKS for stopping by!

Good Morning!

We had such a fun weekend! A friend of mine introduced Grace and I to a place called The Art Barn. Ooooooo! Is this place cool. It is located just outside of Saugatuck. Grace and I chose to paint ceramic items. She made a butterfly and I made a deviled egg plate. I will post pictures when we get them. Fun, fun, fun day!

The family fun continued on Sunday when we went to a Silver Hawks game (minor league baseball team in South Bend) with some friends. We managed to dodge the storms and watch the Silver Hawks win. A very busy fun weekend.

Anyway, I have been working on some projects, playing with water coloring and colored pencils. I will be posting the items when they are complete. In the mean time this is a card we made at the last card camp. Be sure to sign up for the August Camp, and receive a FREE gift!
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stampin'!

Yesterday, SU made a HUGE announcement introducing a new line of product. This product line is called Decore Elements. From what I have seen they are awesome. The images, phrases &numbers, currently available are vinyl and self adhesive (not wallpaper). The two main colors are going to be chocolate and white, some will be available in a Kraft/Beige color. Just think of the possibilities! I will be putting them everywhere! They are easy to put on easy to remove. So now we will not only be making cards and scrapbooks but decorating the rooms we are creating in. I can hardly wait to get my hands on these! I will have brochures available very soon. Product will be available for purchase on July 1, 2008. Stayed tune for additional information as I receive it.

Thanks for stopping by!

Good Morning-

I sure am having trouble sleeping! Must be all the basketball excitement. The cement has set up and we are ready for the assembly of the hoop! Dave has been working on it a little bit each night.

Sounds like we are going to get a thunder storm, I am hearing some rumbles in the distance. I hope it does not rain a lot, I really need to get the lawn mowed today.

The cards that I am posting today are some additional ATC's. These are very fun to make. I will have to stop by Creative Adventure and trade with Heather. I can't wait to see her cards!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Good Morning! You will never guess what we have been doing! Filling the bird feeders! Pretty exciting huh?? We have Golden Finches, Humming Birds (my personal favorites), Orioles (they sound so pretty), Morning Doves, Starlings and Killdeer (these can leave, they squawk all day). We are just a regularly old bird sanctuary. I should probably get a job! I sure am glad Dave does not visit my blog! LOL

Anyway...the photos above are of my Artist Trading Card book. If anyone wants to trade cards let me know.

I hope you have great day and thanks for stopping by!

Good Morning!
Yesterday was such a beautiful day. We played outside all day long! I bet I was suppose to mow the lawn! Oh well...

The card fronts I have posted today are Artist Trading Cards (ATC). I have put together a book and will post that later. You can trade these cards with others for fun (like baseball cards). This is a great way to get ideas. Also, if you need a quick card you can take one, use it for your card front, stamp your phrase on the inside and, whala, you have a card ready to go.

I made these during the Make n' Take at Creative Adventure last month. The ATC with the flower was made out of clear plastic using foil and rubber stamps. The foil comes in many different colors and was fun to use. No two turned out the same. The other ATC featured eyelets that work like brads, very cool, and rubber stamps. I really enjoyed the Make n' Take it was a great chance to try product I have not tried before. Thanks Heather!!!!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Tuesday II

Hi again-

These bookmarks are made using the BIG CLIP. I made them using SU's Polka Dots & Paisley stamp set. The punches I used are the Scallop, 1 3/8 & 1 1/4 circle. The SU Designer Series paper I used was the Polka Dot & Paisley print (this is no longer available). I used a glue dot to put everything together and added some ribbon.

These were the gifts I gave out to anyone signing up for the May Card Camp. Except....I forgot to give them out to the ladies that came on Saturday! Oooops!!! Anyway I have them for those of you that came on Saturday and will put them aside for you. Mark your calendars for the next card camp in August! See margin for details.

Have a great day and thanks for looking! Don't forget to leave a comment, so I know you were here! You'll never know who will get the next piece of blog candy!!!!

Wow! It has been a whole week since I posted. I can not believe how time flies!

Sam is at Bitty Bears Basketball camp this morning, Grace and I are just hanging out. Sam LOVES basketball and he is actually pretty good at it. We are currently installing the Goalrilla Basketball System. When I say system, I mean SYSTEM! This thing is the industrial type. It is one of those that you cement in but, if you move you can take it with you. I am really not sure how I got talked into this purchase but there is no turning back now...the cement has been Anyway, we should have it all assembled by this weekend. I tell you my boy can hardily wait, he just goes out in the garage and sets by the cartons. Kind of like me waiting for the UPS guy to bring my new Stampin' Up! catalogs! LOL

By the way if any of you want a catalog, let me know it is almost time to pre-order them.

I have taken some pictures and will download them later today. I have been playing with my camera, the pictures I have taken in our basement seem to come out pink/peach, so I am playing around with that.

Stay tuned I will post some pictures later today...Thanks for stopping by!
